Delete inside the app
- Open SeeMeEat and sign into the account you want to delete.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete account & data.
- Read the billing reminder and confirm deletion.
This removes the suite account and associated SeeMeEat cloud journal—including manual, search, barcode, label, favorite, repeated, and AutoLog entries—plus Meal Memory, AutoLog schedules, goals, hydration and weight histories, cloud entitlement, quota, and request records. SeeMeEat also clears the offline cache, pending sync changes, scan state, cached meal and label captures, reminder preferences, and pending or delivered meal reminders from that device. Some narrow billing, security, or legal records may be retained only for the period required by law or legitimate fraud and dispute handling.
Health records stay under your control
Deleting your SeeMeEat account pauses the app’s Apple Health or Health Connect sync preference, but it does not delete entries already written to the platform health store. Review and delete those records in Apple Health or Health Connect if you want them removed there.
Request deletion without the app
Email privacy@seemeeat.app from the email address supplied by the Apple or Google account you used with SeeMeEat, with the subject SeeMeEat account deletion. If Apple Private Relay or provider settings prevent that, tell us which provider you used and we will offer another secure way to verify account control before deletion.
Cancel billing separately
Account deletion does not cancel an auto-renewable subscription managed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google account to prevent future renewal. You keep any consumer rights provided by your store and local law.
What happens to meal photos
SeeMeEat does not save original meal photos in its backend after an analysis request. OpenAI provider retention may continue for the limited period described in the Privacy Policy, even after the SeeMeEat account is deleted.
Nutrition-label photos are read on device and are removed from SeeMeEat’s temporary capture cache as part of deletion.
